The Rights of Man was first published in 1791 written by Thomas Paine and embodied in the US constitution and the declaration of independence.
The right of free speech, the first amendment is the most important principle without which we are not able to be a free people. Our first amendment rights have been under attack since the formation of the United States, but never with such fervour as in our present times. Nevertheless, it was Howard Stern (who is an inexhaustible free speech advocate (albeit via satellite radio) and an otherwise brilliant narrator, comedian, social commentator and political strategist) who brought us a fascinating interview of Joe Biden giving us an insight into the person that is Joe Biden.
The interview is enlightening. It portrays Biden's core principles, character and tenacity in overcoming the most tragic events in his life.

While watching TV (too much TV) during the cold outdoors, I stumbled across a Keto Bread You Tube Bakery session. Well I was already puting on the pounds snacking on the couch all day (and Night), so this recipe got my attention. I mean Keto is suposed to be good for you. So here is what I got:
KETO BREAD RECIPE
125g Cream Cheese
DEUTSCHE VERSION
125g Yogurt
5 Eggs
1 Tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
Mix wet ingrediants then stir in these dry ingrediants:
200g Almond Flour
50g Coconut Flour
4 Tbsp Psyllium Husk
1 Tbsp Baking Soda
1/2 tsp Salt
a sprinkle of Nutritional Yeast
Rosemary - Fennel (optional - there are many herb and flavor possibilities)
Have fun! Count the carbs and avoid unhealthy additives.
Shape into loaf (4x7) place on parchment paper and baking sheet
brush on egg and sprinkle with pumkin seeds
Heat Oven to 350 F - Bake 1 hour
(actually you get a nice golden brown in about 30 minutes..
so turn down heat to about 250 F and finish it)

The Logic of Information by Luciano Floridi

"When we run over libraries, persuaded of these principles, what havoc must we make?
If we take in our hands any volume of divinity or school metaphysics, for instance, let us ask, does it contain any abstract reasoning concerning quantity of number?
Does it contain any experimental reasoning concerning matter of fact and existence?"
David Hume (1711-1776)
Luciano Floridi explains in his book entitled "The Logic of Information" that Hume's 'experimemtal reasoning concerning matter of fact and existence and his abstract reasoning concerning quantity of number' are just the empirical and logico-mathematical information mentioned in Hume's quote above. As a consequence, if the answer to Hume's two questions are affirmative, then what I am suggesting is that we should search elsewhere, because that is science not yet philosophy. But if the answer are negative, then it would be foolish to follow Hume's pyromanic advice:
"Commit it then to the flames: for it can contain nothing but sophistry and illusion."
It is interesting that Floridi does not distinguish between the treatment of scientific and philosophical questions. He indirectly emphasizes the treatment of both through the scholasticism of St. Thomas Aquinas, whereby the pursuit of scientific inquiry is often short-circuited by metaphysical revelation if a reasonable approach is not apparent.
Floridi's objections are clear: many questions are not answerable by empirical or logico-mathematical means, yet they are not mere 'sophistry and illusion.'
He formulates the objections as follows:
There are no open questions!
There are too many open questions!
Open questions are unanswerable!
These objections are detailed extensively in his writings, but pursuing this interesting "word salad" seems futile, as I was unable to ascertain any reasonable conclusion.
In a related attempt, Robert Jensen's lecture on epistemological approaches to ascertain truth suggests three disciplines for the journalistic affirmation of truth:
Correspondence
Coherence
Consensus
I will not spend time elevating these concepts to a theory of knowledge or a measure of "Truth." Instead, I will let You-Tuber Robert Jensen walk you through this (not at all nourishing) word salad.
I watched the whole thing and walked away dismayed by the decay of words into something neither communicative nor representative of anything I could call "Truth" (not even truthiness). But if you would like to give it a try, here it is: Robert Jensen's lecture.
The "word salad" being served in his video is even less satisfactory than Floridi's objections to scientific inquiry.
